The Wardle Academy English Department is a vibrant place to learn about English Literature and English Language. The experienced team of teachers enthusiastically communicate their passion for the subject and this is characterised by a strong sense of collaboration and enthusiasm in the teaching and learning of the students, with whom they build positive working relationships.
The department’s main aim is to achieve the highest possible standards for all our students, which transfers into examination success and the chance to pursue the career of their choice in the wider world. Students will enjoy their work in English and the department strives to ensure that the curriculum offers a rich and diverse range of learning experiences.
