Wardle Academy Virtual Music Festival!

Our pupils work hard throughout the year and during this time it would be a shame to let all their hard work go unrecognised.
To make sure that all our students have the opportunity to share their hard work we are launching a virtual music festival.
It is entirely your choice what you play.  It can be a band piece, a solo, something you have prepared for your graded exam, or anything else you enjoy, it’s entirely your choice.
The Performing Arts tutors will watch every single video submitted, give a small feedback and send you a certificate.
There will be no winners or losers but there will be a prize for the most outstanding primary school entry and again for the most outstanding Wardle Academy entrant.

Entries

The festival is open to any student from Wardle Academy & feeder primary schools.
Only one entry per person, either on an instrument or vocal.
Each performance should last no longer than five minutes.  There is no minimum limit.
We will only accept duets, trios from one family (please obey social distancing rules!)
At the start of your video please announce your first name (only) and the piece you are going to perform.
Videos will need to be uploaded via google drive or icloud to the department email address:  music@wardleacademy.co.uk  Please use your school email address and Google Drive where possible.
All entrants will receive an official certificate by email.
Each entry will receive some short feedback by one of our expert team about your performance.
We will not share your recording without receiving your parent/carers permission.
The deadline for entries will be Friday 29th May
Entries should be emailed to music@wardleacademy.co.uk
