William K – Cystic Fibrosis Trust

Year 11 student, William K and his dad completed the Anglesey Sandman triathlon on Saturday 17th September. The pair are hoping to raise as much money as possible for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust as one of William’s oldest friends, Callum R (former student at Wardle Academy) suffers with this life shortening condition.

Molly A – Mind

On Sunday 18th September, Year 11 Student, Molly A completed the Boston Rowing Marathon. The course starts in Lincoln and covers the exceptionally long distance of 49.2 km (30.6 miles) along the River Witham to Boston. Molly completed the marathon in an amazing time of four hours 46 minutes winning her category and raising just short of £500 pounds for the mental health charity, MIND.

 

Zach Hudson – Macmillian Cancer Support

Year 9 student, Zach Hudson will be ‘braving the shave’ in January in aid of Macmillian Cancer Support. Zach has taken this challenge completely independently and hopes to raise his target of £1,000 by 15th January.
