As a school we try increasingly hard to keep parents informed regarding their child’s education.
We are well aware that sending letters home is not always the best way of communicating, with letters going astray and the impact on the environment that letters can cause. In order to combat this, Wardle Academy uses a service called WisePay.
This service allows us to communicate with parents by email and text message. This enables parents to receive the most up-to-date information and urgent messages such as a school closure.
The system also allows parents to make secure electronic payments online by credit/debit card for items such as dinner money, trips and PE kit. This would be the preferred payment method.
We are open over the Easter holiday (including Bank Holidays) to students of keyworkers (either or both parents) and students who may be considered vulnerable.
