Wardle Youth and Junior Blast Bands Compete at the National Youth Brass Band Championships of Great Britain
We are incredibly proud to say that two of our bands, Wardle Youth Band and Wardle Junior Blast, competed at the National Youth Brass Band Championships of Great Britain in Hull this weekend!
They competed in the Championship Section and Performance Section of the competition, both performing brilliantly on stage.
Our Youth Band achieved an amazing 2nd place out of 12 bands and received a Gold award! Our Junior Blast achieved a fantastic Bronze medal in their section after competing against 20 other bands!
We want to give a special shout out to our soloist, Kamran, our principal Eb bass player who played flawlessly!
Huge well done everyone – another amazing achievement for our bands!
