Overview
Geography is one of the broadest subject areas integrated into our everyday lives. We focus on the current socio-economic factors as well as the impacts on both people and their environments they live in. Students receive quality teaching from subject specialists who deliver the critical knowledge and skills that will prepare them for the wider world. We bring the outside world into our classrooms by using ‘real – world’ concepts and by tackling ‘real-world’ problems.
Geography will assist in the understanding of complex issues, and will also focus on a wide range of elements that promote ‘The Wardle Way’. We ensure that we create an atmosphere and environment that promotes a positive experience for our students to learn in, fostering the development of critical thinkers that will be independent, promote leadership and be a respectable role model for others within a diverse society.
