The Wardle Way

Wellbeing and Mental Health

Wellbeing and Mental Health

At Wardle Academy, we understand the importance of wellbeing and how it is important to communicate if we feel our mental health has deteriorated.

We promote our WARDLE values in everything that we do, and as part of the Empathy element we celebrate the 5 ways to wellbeing.

Connect: Connect with the people around you.
Keep Learning: Learning new skills can give you a sense of achievement and a new confidence.
Take Notice: Be more aware of the present moment, including your thoughts and feelings, your body and the world around you.
Be Active: Find an activity that you enjoy and make it a part of your life.
Give: Give to those in need or even giving a smile, a thank you or a kind word.
