The Springboard Intervention Programme
The Springboard Intervention Programme is a targeted literacy initiative designed to support students experiencing challenges in various aspects of reading, including phonics, fluency, comprehension, and vocabulary. The programme begins with the National Group Reading Test (NGRT) to identify students in need of support. These students then undergo further diagnostic assessments such as the YARC test, phonics screening, and a reading fluency test to determine their specific reading difficulties.
Based on these assessments, students are placed into tailored intervention pathways that address their individual areas of weakness. As part of the programme, we also implement Lexonik Advance—a structured intervention proven to accelerate reading skills and boost vocabulary and decoding ability.
Springboard aims not only to close the literacy gap but to empower students with the foundational reading skills necessary for academic success.
