An Evening of Accolades for our Brass Bands at Whit Friday in Saddleworth
Congratulations to our Wardle Academy Youth Band and Wardle Academy Junior Blast who achieved a number of impressive accolades at Whit Friday!
Our Youth Band were successful in retaining the title of Saddleworth Youth Champions and even gained the highest combined youth score overall. They were also awarded deportment prizes, soloist prizes and a best soprano prize.
Our Junior Blast also had a successful evening, gaining 2nd place at Denshaw and the ‘Most Entertaining’ award at Dobcross.
Well done everyone! Another hugely successful event for our talented bands!
