A Grand Kind Gesture
It was great to welcome Graham White from Mercia Power to Wardle Academy and meet the band as they prepare to defend their title at this year’s European Youth Championships held in Malmo, Sweden. Graham has very kindly sponsored the band and donated £5000 to support them in their ongoing work this year. The music department is extremely thankful for this huge gesture and are looking forward to competing in the contest in May.
Thank you so much Graham White and Mercia Power!
