A Musical Summer Slam!
We held our annual summer music evening, where we celebrated over 100 participating musicians of Wardle Academy. The evening consisted of performances from our Wind band, Development band, Intermediate band, Youth band and our pop group “Lagoon.”
It was also a great chance to recognise the commitment of players who are sadly moving on from Wardle Academy to sixth form, gaining their 5-year badges. We also unfortunately had to say goodbye to some of our youth band members, who are moving on after completing their A-levels this year, gaining their 7-year service badges.
Everyone performed amazingly and the show went stunningly!
