An Inspector Calls Us To The Lowry
On Saturday 14th January, Wardle Academy’s English Faculty took 70 GCSE students to Manchester’s Lowry Theatre to see the amazing An Inspector Calls.
Staff and students were dazzled by the stunning scenery – including a tilting stage! – and a rollicking performance.
However, the best part (for Miss Harris and Miss Coltas) was the coach home, when students articulated and critiqued the directorial choices expertly, articulating their understanding of the play with enthusiasm and insight.
A great afternoon all round!
