Celebrating Another Year of Exam Success – GCSE Results Day 2025
Wardle Academy is delighted to celebrate another year of fantastic GCSE results, with learners achieving some of the best outcomes in the school’s history. This year’s results highlight the hard work, resilience, and determination of our Year 11 cohort, and we could not be prouder of their achievements.
Among the many individual successes, Joe Crossley achieved an exceptional set of results which included six grade 9s and two grade 8s, while Alexandra Forbes also excelled with six grade 9s and two grade 8s. These outstanding results reflect not only the individual commitment of our learners, but also the dedication of staff and the unwavering support of families.
“We are immensely proud of all our Year 11 learners. Their hard work, determination and commitment to their studies have truly paid off and these results are a testament to their resilience and ambition.
This year we saw the highest ever proportion of learners voluntarily attending our D6 initiative on Saturday mornings, showing their drive to succeed and willingness to go the extra mile.
We are also deeply grateful to all our families for the support they have given throughout the year – these results are a collective achievement for our whole community.”
