We are celebrating the wonderful achievements of James Squirrell, a former Wardle Academy student and incoming Veterinary Science and Medicine Student at the University of Nottingham.
Life After Wardle Academy
James benefitted from the supportive environment at Wardle Academy which allowed him to succeed at school and continue his studies at Rochdale Sixth Form College.
Whilst at college, James studied Chemistry, Biology and Geography. He achieved excellent grades, leaving college with an A* in Chemistry, A in Biology and A in Geography.
Following his academic success, James gained a place on the BVSc Veterinary Science and Medicine course at the University of Nottingham. James is currently on a gap year, taking the time to prepare for the start of his degree in September 2025.
