Formby Dunes
Recently the Geography Department took our Year 10 GCSE Geography learners to Formby Dunes. Learners spent the day conducting a variety of data collection techniques to measure dune vegetation to investigate the impact of human activity. The fieldwork provided learners with the opportunity to put classroom learning into practice and to broaden their fieldwork knowledge and understanding.
