Jagtag
On Friday 28th May, students in years 7 and 10 were given the opportunity to experience the sport of JagTag. Coaches from Jaguars UK were invited into the school, running two one hour sessions with students, providing them with an opportunity to experience a new sport. Jagtag is a simplified version of touch American football invented by the Jacksonville Jaguars and is sweeping across schools in the United Kingdom. The game is suitable for students of all abilities as they are taught basic techniques of throwing, catching, evading and defending before gradually up-skilling as they get more experience, eventually learning how to create their own in-game tactics.
