Living the Dream: Wardle Alumni Jessica’s Journey to her Dream Russell Group University
Jessica Sunderland – First Year Law Student at the University of Nottingham
We are celebrating the wonderful achievements of Jessica Sunderland, a former Wardle Academy student and current Law student at the University of Nottingham.
Getting Inspired
Jessica highlighted the incredible support she received at Wardle which allowed her to succeed and achieve her goals.
Wardle provided me with so much support and confidence to pursue my dream of going to a Russel group university to study Law.
In particular, Jessica noted the support of her English teacher, Mr Greenhalgh, who inspired her to pursue English Literature at A Level.
He inspired me to do A Level English Literature which I ended up getting an A in!
A Dream Come True
After leaving Wardle Academy in 2023, Jessica progressed to Rochdale Sixth Form College where she achieved excellent grades of 4 As.
Jessica’s dream of studying Law at a Russell Group university came true after being accepted into the University of Nottingham where she will begin her degree later this month.
