Macmillan Coffee Morning 2021
Today, Year 7 students and SEND Base Students supported the Macmillan Cancer Support charity through taking part in the world’s greatest coffee morning fundraising event.
As an academy we support a range of charities as part of demonstrating our value of Respect. This helps us to develop empathy for others in our community, and an awareness of the challenges that others face.
Students had the opportunity to practice their baking skills, with many baking cakes and buns to raise money for this fantastic cause. Miss Price and Mr Watson had the difficult task of determining our champion bakers for the afternoon, and lots of our families and wider communities joined in the event.
A total of £298.50 was raised for the Macmillan charity. We would like to thank all those families and students who contributed towards the success of the event. Well done Year 7 and Base students!
