National Theatre – Jekyll and Hyde
The visit from the National Theatre to our Academy has been a huge privilege and a wonderful opportunity for our students to experience some of the most interesting and avant garde theatre work in our country at the moment. The tremendous adaptation and fresh look at Jekyll and Hyde pushed the boundaries of modern theatre and tackled head on some of the most topical themes of our time.
The interesting way that online culpability was explored drove home a hard message that was thought provoking by holding a mirror to society. I’m certain many students will be reflecting on their own lives in a way that instigates social change at a grassroots level.
An incredible experience for all involved.
