Preparing to ‘Break the Bubble’ Year 7 Day
On Friday 16th July students in Year 7 took part in a fun packed personal development day. The day’s theme was preparing students for ‘breaking the bubble’ in September and to give them the opportunity to take part in a range of Wardle Way themed activities.
Students completed an ‘Orienteering’ around Wardle Academy session, The Escape Room, Social distanced mob dancing on the field, which included some fantastic dance offs, Well-being and Art, Maths challenges, Samba drums and Digital well-being.
‘I enjoyed all the sessions today, especially having a tour of the Academy and being able to see where we are going to be in September;’ ‘The Escape room was challenging but we all had to work together to crack the codes;’ and ‘I loved doing the mob dance outside, it was great fun!’
