Remembrance Day 2023
On the 10th of November, Wardle students performed “The Last Post” for staff and fellow students which was followed by a minutes silence to acknowledge the sacrifice and courage of those who served their country.
Wardle’s annual Remembrance Concert was then held on the night of the 11th, which saw the stage being shared by the Wardle Academy Youth Band, the Wardle Anderson Band and the Wardle Community Brass Band. On the 12th of November, our Youth and Intermediate bands took part in the Wardle Remembrance Parade.
All pieces were performed beautifully; thank you to everyone who made the Remembrance events possible.
