Sporting Success!
Over the past week we have seen some wonderful sporting achievements from our students here at Wardle Academy.
Our students from years 7-11 took part in the borough cross country competition at Falinge Park High School on Thursday 23rd September. There were many fantastic performances from the students, including four 1st place finishes.
The year 11 football team won 4-1 in the first round of the National Cup! On Tuesday 28th September the team travelled over an hour to Penistone Grammar school and put on a superb performance, full of grit, determination and skill!
