Student Wins Bronze in the Underwater Hockey National Championships
Congratulations to our talented student Emily and her team for winning bronze in the U14 Underwater Hockey National Championships in Plymouth! The fantastic team was made up of three Rochdale players as well as players from St Albans who worked together to come out with an amazing result.
The unique sport of underwater hockey sees players compete in a fast and exciting game of hockey whilst submerged in water, a real challenge of skill and stamina.
We are so proud of Emily for being selected to represent Rochdale in the U14 Underwater Hockey National Championships and for achieving such a great result.
Emily has been a dedicated player at the Rochdale Underwater Hockey Club since she was 8 years old. Her hard work has truly paid off as a National Championship player and a bronze medalist. Emily’s club has a rich history of talented athletes with two of their players due to represent Great Britain in the U19 World Championships later this month.
