Students Display Excellent Sportsmanship at Football Match
We are really proud of our Year 9 students who displayed excellent teamwork, determination and sportsmanship at their recent match against The Barlow RC High School. They all represented Wardle and Football Beyond Borders wonderfully and we are really proud of their conduct at the match.
Although the team missed out on winning the game, they remained determined and managed to work their way up to 1-0 and later level off their score to 2-2.
Their excellent conduct at the match really stood out, from supporting teammates and showing excellent sportsmanship to leading their team and behaving professionally.
We want to give a big shoutout to Jorge who, despite not being able to play due to injury, was there to support his teammates through the game. Another shoutout to Oliver who was the captain for the match and finished top of the leader board after no negative behaviour points within school.
