Textile Triumph
As part of our alumni celebration campaign (submit your success here), Courtney told us of her time after Wardle Academy. After leaving, she went on to attend Hopwood Hall College where she studied Textiles and then went on to achieve a First Class Fashion Design Degree at the University of Salford, during which time she designed an outfit that was shown at the New York Fashion Week 2020.
Textiles lessons were my favourite and I was really encouraged to pursue it further both whilst at and when I left school.

Courtney now works as a Teacher, teaching Textiles to secondary and sixth form students.
