Virtual Racing
Wardle Academy student Sandro has yet again shown an outstanding display of excellence by competing in a kart race taking on 28 racers from eTeams across the country.
This time however the kart race was virtual and saw Sandro taking on a new challenge by racing via computer instead of his usual real-life kart.
Sandro was diagnosed with autism when he was three and tried out his first kart at six years old. Since then, he has competed in countless races and acts as an inspirational ambassador for autism. He presents to groups and explores the challenges that surround autism whilst providing positivity and inspiration.
Well done Sandro!
