Wardle Brass Band Represent England at the European Youth Brass Band Championships in Norway
This weekend, our amazing Wardle Brass Band travelled to Stavanger, Norway to represent England and compete at the European Youth Band Championships.
After winning the National Youth Brass Band Championships of Great Britain last year, the band successfully qualified to represent their country on the international stage.
Our students jetted off to Norway on Saturday, arriving in Stavanger prepared for their final rehearsal at the Stavanger Band room.
They followed this with an evening of fun and friendship with a lovely meal out and a game of bowling.
The students absorbed the beautiful landscape of Stavanger, capturing a lovely photo with the sun setting over the Fjords in the background.
The Wardle Brass Band, led by Brad McCulloch, took to the stage on Sunday where they performed brilliantly, representing their country with enormous pride and talent.
We are so proud of our students who work incredibly hard in each and every rehearsal and performance.
Huge congratulations everyone!
