Wardle Crowned Champions at 2024 National Youth Brass Band Championships of Great Britain
A massive congratulations to Wardle Academy’s Brass Band who were crowned winners of the 2024 National Youth Brass Band Championships of Great Britain this weekend!
Wardle competed against 13 brass bands from all over the country to be crowned 1st place for their outstanding performance. They also beat the defending champions, Youth Brass 2000, who had previously been the nine-time consecutive winners of the competition.
Wardle’s victory has landed them a place in the European Youth Championships in Stavanger, Norway in 2025 where the band will be representing England. We can’t wait to see Wardle compete on the international stage – well done to all involved in the band!
