World Book Day 2026
We have had a great week in the run up to World Book Day. Key Stage Three learners have been introduced to and have enjoyed reading new books in their form time reading sessions. They have completed quizzes online, a World Book Relay sheet and written book reviews. There was a fantastic atmosphere in the library this morning when students came to collect their golden tickets for entering the competitions; we had lots of winners! Our staff were also treated to golden tickets and the chance to win a book – but only if they dressed up. As you can see, the costumes are fabulous!
The deadline to the competitions has been extended to Monday so learners still have the chance to win a prize. See Mrs Henderson in the library for the competition sheets.
