Year 10 PE PGL
Our Year 10 GCSE PE and Sports Studies students attended a 2 night trip to PGL, Boreatton Park, Shropshire. The environment was perfect and the weather was fantastic, which contributed to an excellent weekend. During the trip students had the opportunity to immerse themselves in a range of adrenaline fuelled challenges, alongside strategic and problem solving activities. It was a great way for the Year 10 students to overcome challenges, develop problem solving and bolster leadership.
The highlights of the weekend were the jacob’s ladder and giant swing, both activities tested students mental strength and resilience. To add, Mr Watson and Mr Blackburn completed a fitness boot camp in the mornings, which was attended by several students. The students were a credit to the school throughout the trip, great memories were made and the students had a brilliant time.
