Year 6 Art and Design Event

Wardle Academy hosted a Year 6 event to give St Andrew’s Primary School students a taste of what high school life is like! Students completed a monoprint activity inspired by the artist Yayoi Kusama. They looked at how her disability and lack of support from her family motivated her further to be what she was destined to be…an artist that would change the world!

I enjoyed Yayoi Kusama aka ‘the princess of polka dots’.  I am looking forward to high school because you get to learn about new people.’
