Year 7 Create Striking Sculptures Inspired by Giacometti

Year 7 have produced some amazing pieces of art inspired by Giacometti. Over the last term, Year 7 have been working towards making a recreation of Giacometti’s Bronze Sculptures out of wire, newspaper and latex.

To understand how Giacometti creates his unique sculptures, they looked at images of figures in motion and adapted them into his style through a series of drawings.They then worked from these drawings to create their own sculpture.

They have worked so hard and have created some amazing pieces of art. We are super proud of them!
