Overview

Learners live in a digital world, the devices they use are useful if the user is competent, therefore we believe it is essential to empower young people to be able to become digitally literate, developing skills that are not only applicable in the subject but in the real world. Through a mixture of practical and theoretical lessons, learners will explore the 3 strands of computing – Information Technology, Computer Science and Digital Literacy – arming them with the transferable skills to become resilient digital citizens who can positively and confidently navigate the digital world.

Business Studies

Overview

Business Studies is a dynamic subject exploring the modern business world. We aim to equip learners with the knowledge and skills to understand how businesses function and compete. Learners develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and entrepreneurial skills, preparing them for success in the global marketplace.

Digital Information Technology

Overview

The Award gives learners the opportunity to develop sector-specific knowledge and skills in a practical learning environment, such as project planning, designing and creating user interfaces, creating dashboards to present and interpret data whilst understanding legislation and cybersecurity.
